Paton-Churdan graduating seniors were honored at a catered banquet Friday, May 8, at the Paton Community Room.
More than 100 persons, including seniors, their parents and family, Paton-Churdan staff and scholarship presenters attended.
All graduating seniors are required to select a mentor and write an essay explaining how that mentor has impacted his or her life as part of their senior portfolio. The essays are read aloud at the banquet, with the mentors as special guests.
The event was co-sponsored by Community State Bank of Paton and United Bank of Iowa – Churdan.
